The Two-Year Bridge Symposium

The objective of the American Accounting Association Foundation's ("Foundation") Two-Year Bridge Symposium is to provide accounting content, community, and professional resources for two-year college students from underrepresented backgrounds as they contemplate their education pathways and potential careers in the accounting profession. Specifically, the Foundation is collaborating with the Deloitte Foundation, the Center for Audit Quality, PwC, Teachers of Accounting at Two Year Colleges, and other partners to provide a one-day symposium focusing on:

Opportunities in the Accounting Profession Transitioning to Four-Year Institutions CPA Exam and Licensure Planning Scholarships and Professional Resources

The Two-Year Bridge Symposium will be an in-person event on November 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM EST – 3:30 PM EST in the Deloitte and PwC offices of the following cities (Atlanta, Baltimore, Birmingham, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Hermitage, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Rosslyn, and San Jose). If selected, you will attend the Symposium at the office based upon your school's location. Our Lead Sponsors (Deloitte Foundation and PwC) will fund the meals and other program expenses. The Center for Audit Quality, a Supporting Sponsor, funds the travel expenses. We hope you will apply to join us!
